Nikos and Carina

Pairing it down and taking things back to basics, Nikos & Carinas wedding day is all about simplicity of pure feelings.

They met each other before 3 years, in Germany, as they were neighbors.

Nikos has moved to Germany from Athens for work reasons as a psychologist. Carina is from Germany and she works for the German authorities.

It was love at first site.

Nikos confessed us: “I couldn’t imagine having someone else by my side, other than Carina”.

Therefore, they decided to celebrate their love with some close friends and family from Greece and Germany here in Santorini. On the 1st June 2016, after Nikos proposal, 3 years later, on the same day, they exchanged their rings at Santo Winery, with the amazing caldera view as background.

Elegant unity between them, was the main ingredient of their day. Pale pink and white roses in glass high vases decorated at the aisle, and a minimal ceremony table set up, with a floral garland from greenery and roses made the scenery like a fairytale.

After ceremony, couple and guests toasted “GIA MAS” with local wine at their private room in the winery, enjoying live local music.

Their unique day finished with a reception at Pyrgos Restaurant, dinning, drinking and dancing till dawn.
