Amy and Michael, May 2019
Michael and Amy have been friends since they were teenagers and throughout the years they became best friends. They have been great friends through each other`s highs and lows of life sharing good times, bad times, sad times, and even heartbreaks, but throughout it all they have always been that “one” person for each other.
"In late October 2017 Michael and I decided we would attempt to date and something that we worried about being awkward and terrifying became something so perfect and exhilarating and right before our eyes we suddenly went from telling each other about awkward dating stories to wanting to be each other's last and first kiss of the day." Amy said.
On July 24, 2018 the couple left for Dallas so they could fly out the next day for vacation, they arrived at the hotel and all Amy was expecting was to have a nice dinner before leaving, but as soon as she opened the hotel room door she knew what she was getting a lot more. She walked into a pathway lined with rose petals and candles that led to a heart made from the rose petals in the middle of the room and that’s where Michael asked Amy to marry her.
"Without a doubt in my mind I said YES! I couldn`t wait to get the ring on my finger, my heart was so full of happiness just thinking about spending forever with each other. We departed for Cabo the next day and celebrated are engagement for a week and then it was time to get back to reality. I was still on cloud 9 and couldn`t wait to go find a dress and set a date. We both decided on a destination wedding in Santorini because of our love for beautiful scenery. I cannot wait till the day that i say I DO so we can start our forever."
….And so they did! The couple hired a private catamaran and exchanged their vows over the Aegean sea. You can enjoy their wedding below!
